What is a Local Heritage Asset Register?

 

The local heritage asset register, more commonly known as the Local List, is a list of heritage assets within the city that the Council has identified as worthy of protection, due to their historic, architectural or archaeological interest.

The aim of the register is to set out the significance of these local heritage assets, informing all current and future planning decisions.
